This cycle/pedestrian shared route starts at the top of Dagnam Park in Noak Hill and passes through Harold Hill, Harold Wood, Upminster, Hornchurch, South Hornchurch and Rainham ending up at the River Thames at the riverside car park.  

It is 90% off road and roughly follows the River Ingrebourne passing through a number parks and the Ingrebourne Valley, all of which are  maintained by Havering Council, the Forestry Commission and the RSPB.  

The opening ceremony will be held at the newly built bridge over the River Ingrebourne at Gaynes Parkway which is adjacent to Hacton Lane in Hornchurch, commencing at 12.00pm on May 22nd, 2013.   There will be led rides from both the north and south of the route and these will commence at 10.30am.
