"Harold Hill Police Station is closed for good. It's now on a list of Metropolitan Police property disposal sites, (i.e. for sale). The bus stop (named "Harold Hill Police Station) is now named "Harold Hill Community Centre" Harold Hill Police Station will never open again. When closure was announced Cllr. Keith Darvill publicly announced the local Labour Party would spearhead a campaign to keep it open...but absolutely nothing ever happened!

There's a small Police Office to house the Neighbourhood Ward Police teams of Heaton & Gooshays at the junction of Straight Road and Farringdon Avenue. But that's not open to the public. The public have to attend either Romford for Hornchurch Police Stations, which now always have long queues...and Hornchurch is due to close soon owing to more cuts"
