Dagnam Park's recorded moths.  Below the list you can see is all of the locally taken photos that we have, all in alphabetical order. The list is woefully incomplete. No serious study of the moths in the park has ever been undertaken. Our Thanks go to Graham Ekins of the Essex Field Club for identifying almost all of these moths. All pictures are from Dagnam Park. There are more than 2,500 British moths they don't all have common names. I have used the generally accepted English names if they exist.                  Del Smith

This is the larval case created by the larvae which lives inside. It gets around by poking its head and legs out of one end and dragging titself from place to place. Also known as Bag Worms.
